GRAPHIC/WEBSITE DESIGNER

Aletheia Digital is a growing company looking for a talented graphic designer with the ability to create and design appealing, modern, mobile optimized websites and branded materials that will help our clients grow their business. The position is for a graphic designer with an emphasis in digital design. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our clients' branding. Additional responsibilities may include logo, branding and identity design, as well as design of traditional print media materials. You will be working closely with our sales and fulfillment teams to ensure a high quality of work is delivered.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other design platforms. Knowledge of website building platforms such as Duda or Wordpress is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualizing creative ideas with internal and external clients.
• Creating and improving the design of websites.
• Establishing and following design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
• Working with different content management systems.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Designing sample website pages including colors and fonts.
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
• Designing various materials for print and digital assets with focus on creating daily deliverables.
• Prioritizing and managing multiple projects while communicating effectively with other members of the team.
• Maintaining and archiving all records, original art and other related work.

REQUIREMENTS

• A relevant diploma in a related field is preferred but not required.
• A strong portfolio that displays exceptional creativity and innovative design skills, with a real eye for detail.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
• Strong knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and digital.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain workflows.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Up-to-date experience with web protocols, standards, compliancy and technologies a plus.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Open to a collaborative and deadline-driven working environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
